Minnesota Vikings unveil Ecolab Gate at U.S. Bank Stadium

The Minnesota Vikings recently announced a partnership with Ecolab and will have a gate at U.S. Bank Stadium named after the local, home-grown business.

U.S. Bank Stadium will be the home of the Minnesota Vikings starting in the 2016 NFL season. While that is a given, there are still plenty of things to work out as far as corporate sponsors, naming rights, and other details in regards to advertising around the stadium.

The Minnesota Vikings announced on Thursday that they would be partnering with Minnesota-based business Ecolab on a 10-year deal which would establish a gate at the new stadium named after them.

Here is the statement from Ecolab Chairman and CEO Douglas M. Baker, Jr.

"“For more than 90 years, Ecolab has been proud to call Minnesota home, and we understand the importance of supporting community initiatives throughout our great state. We are proud of our partnership with the Vikings and this new facility that Minnesotans will enjoy for decades to come.”"

Ecolab Gate will be the north entrance to the stadium and there will be stations around the facility that provide hand care and sanitation products as well as help provide water solutions and heating/cooling help for the massive stadium.

The Minnesota Vikings are proud to work with a local business. Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf knows the value of a partner like Ecolab and is excited to have them as a part of the team for U.S. Bank Stadium.

"“Ecolab is a prominent Minnesota business whose CEO, Doug Baker, has long-been a supporter of the Vikings and served a key role in the push to secure Super Bowl LII in Minnesota. We are excited to officially partner with Ecolab to offer their products inside U.S. Bank Stadium and work together in the community.”"

While the team won’t move inside U.S. Bank Stadium until the 2016 NFL season, it sounds like U.S. Bank Stadium is nearing completion with many major companies already partnering with the Minnesota Vikings to help make the stadium the best it can be and keep costs down.
