Stefon Diggs has weighed in on which of this year’s draft prospects he would like to have as a teammate in Minnesota, and it’s Laquon Treadwell.

Fans, mock drafters and general NFL wonks are engaged in a great debate over which wide receiver prospect would most help the Vikings if they were to draft him.

Should the Vikings go with speedster Corey Coleman? All-around athlete Josh Doctson? Dez Bryant-like specimen Laquon Treadwell? Somebody else?

Fans and experts aren’t the only ones with opinions on this subject. Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs also wants to throw in his two cents.

In an Instagram post, Diggs named the guy he appears to prefer above the others. It’s Laquon Treadwell. Diggs said in his caption:

"I know a dawg when I see one. And lil bro for sure for sure a dog !!!! Ion care nothing bout no clock cut that film on @successfulquon"

Diggs reminds us there that Treadwell ran a somewhat less-than-impressive 40 at Ole Miss pro day. But Diggs says, just look at the tape.

Oh rest assured Stefon Diggs, Rick Spielman and his scouts are looking at the tape. And they’re looking at the tape on all the rest of the receivers too.

Spielman wants to see every inch of tape he can see on every receiver in the world. He even wants to look at German Football League star (and apparent God-like physical specimen) Moritz Boehringer.

The unfortunate thing is, other teams are looking at tape as well, and one of them might snatch the Vikings’ guy before they pick at #23.

If Treadwell is picked ahead of the Vikings, or if the Vikings have a chance to pick Treadwell and go with someone else, it seems Stefon Diggs will be a bit disappointed. And a lot of fans may be disappointed as well.

(PS, no Stefon Diggs does not “know” anything. The Vikings don’t even know who they want to draft yet.)
