Minnesota Vikings to wear gold jerseys for Color Rush games?

With the news that Thursday Night Football will feature Color Rush uniforms, the Minnesota Vikings may be wearing all-gold jerseys in a prime time matchup.
In an effort to make things a little different on Thursday Night Football (and increase jersey sales), the Color Rush program has been renewed for the 2016 NFL season. Of course, this means that some of the biggest games and division matchups will look a little different, as squads will be wearing alternate jerseys for those games.
However, a chart that claims to be leaked by the NFL was shared by the Twitter account @NFL_Leaks yesterday, showing some of the color schemes that teams may be using in these Thursday night matchups.

Just look at that Baltimore Ravens square and the preview for the Cincinnati Zebras. Yuck. But not all of those are so bad.
Most fans had speculated that the Color Rush jerseys for the Minnesota Vikings would feature the gold of the Vikings colors and it seems as though they are correct. According to another tweet from @NFL_Leaks, the NFC North’s jerseys will look something like these:
Admittedly, I’m not a big fan of the Color Rush on Thursday Night Football. However, after seeing the gold Minnesota Vikings jerseys, I don’t hate the idea anymore. It isn’t as repulsive as some of the other games fans have been treated to in the past and actually looks pretty solid.
The Minnesota Vikings are scheduled for one Thursday Night Football game on December 1, 2016 when these jerseys should be on display. Their opponent that night is the Dallas Cowboys, who will be wearing white jerseys according to the chart above.
Also, the Vikings do have another Thursday game on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions, but it isn’t known as to whether or not this game will get the Color Rush treatment.
