#11: Chicago Bears – Vernon Hargreaves III, CB Florida

  • As a Vikings fan, this is a nightmare scenario for me. I fell in love watching tape on Hargreaves and know he’s a top 10 talent. However, seeing him available for the Bears when they desperately need to add more defensive playmakers made the decision easy for Chicago. Hargreaves can do it all, and do it all well, making a potentially scary Bears team even better.

#12: New Orleans Saints – Darron Lee, OLB Ohio State

  • The Saints are in desperate need of defense. As long as they have Drew Brees, New Orleans will be able to score enough points to stay in games, but the problem is that they give up more than they seem to score. Thanks to Darron Lee, they can add a physical, smart, and well-rounded player to their team to help build a defense around in the future.

#13: Miami Dolphins – Jack Conklin, OT Michigan State

  • In the past couple of drafts, Miami has invested a lot of picks and money in the passing game, but now it’s time to help out those skill players and address some issues on the offensive line. Conklin can step right in and help this team take the next step toward contending in their division by securing their franchise quarterback, Ryan Tannehill.

#14: Oakland Raiders – Reggie Ragland, LB Alabama

  • Honestly, the Raiders aren’t that far away from being actual contenders. That’s right, at one time Oakland was the joke of the NFL, but with smart drafting and great moves in free agency, the team seems poised to be one of the best young squads in the league. Ragland fills a need, and while he’s not flashy, he’s the kind of reliable player they need to continue building the franchise.

#15: Tennessee Titans – Taylor Decker, OT Ohio State

  • Tennessee cannot allow Byron Bell to continue being the starting right tackle. They need to protect young quarterback Marcus Mariota and help make big holes for newcomer DeMarco Murray. While Decker likely won’t be an All-Pro any time soon, he should be a reliable, consistent player for the Titans to protect their big investments.
