You could play flag football in the new home of the Minnesota Vikings thanks to a charity flag football event to be held at U.S. Bank Stadium in September.

Fans who will be in Minnesota this September will have the chance to play football on the field of U.S. Bank Stadium before the Vikings have a regular season game.

Thanks to a charity event held by UnitedHealth Group on September 10, 2016 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm to support finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, there will be a flag football tournament held in the billion dollar stadium for the first 33 teams to sign up.

Interested fans should check out the CCFA website and get more information. Teams of 15 players can sign up for $3500 and those looking for corporate information about their team to be shared can pay a little extra to have that done. And for those who don’t have a team, individual spots can be bought for $350.

Here is the statement from the CCFA website about the event:

"“Ready to play in the all-new US Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings? Experience the game of a lifetime! Gather your family, friends and co-workers for this inaugural flag football tournament presented by UnitedHealth Group. Competitive and recreational divisions available to all ability levels. Limited to the first 33 teams! Funds raised help to find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and support the 1.6 million Americans affected by these devastating diseases.”"
