Lenny Wilf, one of the owners of the Minnesota Vikings, is funding an upcoming event to benefit  veterans and those who serve the United States of America.

When people talk about the ownership of the Minnesota Vikings, most of the attention goes to Zygi and Mark Wilf. However, their cousin Lenny is also part of that ownership group.

Lenny Wilf has been the Vice Chairman/Owner of the Minnesota Vikings for 12 years, but his interests spread long past football. In fact, according to a recent article on the Vikings.com website, Mr. Wilf is helping to fund a benefit event for United States veterans and their families in November and tackle the subject of war from a soldier’s perspective..

The event is scheduled to take place on Veteran’s Day (November 11, 2016) and Wilf’s contribution will allow the popular nine-piece Minneapolis male vocal group Cantus to put on a performance as well as provide 100 tickets to be available to the event at no cost to the public.

"“This is a great event that connects to a cause that is near to my heart,” said Wilf. “It’s important to recognize the courageous contributions made by these American veterans, and I consider it an honor to support them.”"

The title of the event is “No Greater Love Than This” and will support and recognize the efforts of those who have served their country as well as those currently in service. The vocal group Cantus should help make this event a memorable one for those in attendance.

"“We wanted to tell the stories of the individuals who experienced the war firsthand,” said one Cantus member about the performance."
