Which classic Minnesota Vikings games will be coming to YouTube?
Starting in August, fans will be able to access a small number of classic NFL games via the league’s official YouTube page, including three games featuring the Minnesota Vikings.
The league conducted a poll of fans to determine which three games should be featured and on Thursday the winners were announced.
So, beginning in August, you will be able to go on the NFL’s YouTube channel and re-live these three memorable match-ups.
2012 Week 17 Vikings vs. Packers. The week Adrian Peterson went over 2,000 yards and the Vikings knocked off Green Bay to earn a playoff berth (and keep the Packers from clinching home field).
1998 Thanksgiving Week Vikings vs. Cowboys. The game where Randy Moss lit up the Cowboys to the tune of 163 yards and three TDs…on just three receptions.

1987 Playoff Divisional Round Vikings vs. 49ers. The epic game where Minnesota went into Candlestick Park and defeated the heavily-favored 49ers, a team most folks believed were headed to the Super Bowl.
That’s a pretty good slate of games. Hopefully somewhere down the road the NFL will expand the selection to include more great Vikings games including some from the ’60s and ’70s.
Here’s a list of five more games I’d personally love to see on the YouTube channel in the future:
1. 1980 Hail Mary Game. The Vikings came back to beat the Browns on the single-most-stunning play in team history, a Hail Mary pass from Tommy Kramer to Ahmad Rashad.
2. 1997 Playoff Game Vikings vs. Giants. The Vikings were down late to the Giants until Randall Cunningham led them on a remarkable comeback capped by a controversial TD pass to Jake Reed.
3. 2005 Playoff Game Vikings vs. Packers. Who can ever forget the Vikings going into Lambeau Field and stunning Brett Favre and the Pack? And of course Randy Moss added a little extra fun by pretending to moon the crowd.

4. 1976 NFC Title Game Vikings vs. Rams. One of the most grueling and memorable playoff games in Vikings history. The Vikes ground out a big win vs. the Rams to advance to the Super Bowl.
5. 1973 NFC Title Game Vikings vs. Cowboys. The Vikes moved on to the Super Bowl after walking into the Cowboys’ stadium and beating them.
