Overall Impressions
The Minnesota Vikings aren’t as fun to watch without Teddy Bridgewater or Adrian Peterson. That said, it’s always great to see the team play against an excellently run franchise like the Seattle Seahawks.

Offensively, there wasn’t much to take away from this game. No starting quarterback or running back. Backups on the offensive line. Second stringers at wide receiver. But what we did see was some heart from players who were put in tough positions against an extremely tough Seahawks first team defense.
On defense, the Vikings have to be pleased. With the exception of some lapses in run coverage, fans should be very encouraged by the first and second units, particularly the defensive line and pass rush. The secondary was a bit patchwork for this contest, but it could be a lot of fun to watch them work during the regular season.
Overall, this wasn’t a great game to watch as a fan. It would have been great to see some of the bigger names play, but it is also understandable not to risk a star player’s health or push a guy to return before he is ready. Still, any time you can get a win over a team that has been a thorn in your side is a good game.
