Minnesota Vikings – LOSER

It was a rough Thanksgiving for Vikings’ fans. Just a week later, heartbreak strikes again. A 5-0 team is now 6-6, obviously having some serious struggles. With only 4 games remaining and possibly facing a 2-game deficit in the NFC North, the Vikings are almost in a must-win-out situation.

More from The Viking Age

If the Vikings could have pulled out a victory over the Cowboys, it would have done wonders for this team. Obviously 7-5 is better than 6-6, but the Vikings confidence would have been through the roof after a win over the team holding the NFL’s best record.

All of that is void now, though, with the Vikings losing and dropping to 6-6. Now, the Vikings have to hope they can pull off a string of wins to even have a shot at making the playoffs.

Minnesota is now in a position where they almost have to win the rest of their games to win their division or make the playoffs. With Detroit having a chance to go up two games on the Vikes and the Packers starting to get things together, the season does look bleak for Minnesota.

With that being said, this same Minnesota Vikings team won 5 in a row to start the season. They can definitely win 4 in a row to end the season. With a weak schedule coming up, there’s no reason to lose all hope, yet. Next up, a must win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
