Adrian Peterson was stopped in Houston for an interview about road rage, but the person conducting the talk had no clue who he was speaking to.
After choosing not to pick up the 2017 option on Adrian Peterson‘s contract, the former Minnesota Vikings running back returned home to Houston to be with his family and prepare for free agency.
Scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 9th, Peterson has been posting some great videos of him showing off his athletic ability to entice teams to take a long, hard look at the former NFL Most Valuable Player and NFL rushing leader.
However, the most entertaining video to come out recently has to be from Fox 26 in Houston, where a recently fatal incident of road rage had a reporter asking people on the street for their opinions on the issue.
Check out the video as shared on the official Fox 26 Houston Facebook page:
The gentleman goes all the way through the interview, asking pressing questions about how he handles road rage, some of the past incidents he experienced, and advice for those dealing with the issue.

At the end of the interview, the person conducting the dialogue asked for the name of the person he was talking do. And that is where things got fun.
"“What’s your name?”“Adrian Peterson.”“Wait…You’re not…”“Yeah.”"
And then laughter was had by everyone on the scene. Fox 26 tried to explain how the star running back wasn’t identified sooner on their Facebook status.
"“During a story about road rage, reporter John Donnelly FOX 26 interviewed NFL free agent running back Adrian Peterson…but he didn’t realize it was AP28 until the very end. We suppose he does look slightly different when he’s not wearing the uniform and pads.”"
Next: Peterson to become free agent on March 9th
The future is up in the air for Adrian Peterson, as it is possible he returns to the Minnesota Vikings, but will have the option to sign anywhere after becoming an unrestricted free agent on March 9th. No matter what happens, this was a fun video for fans of the running back to enjoy.
