With the tie-breaker coin flip for draft positioning done, the Minnesota Vikings now know where they will be selecting in the 2017 NFL Draft.
The Minnesota Vikings finished with the same record and strength of schedule as the Indianapolis Colts, making their draft positioning be left up to a coin flip to determine who would be picking 14th in the 2017 NFL Draft.
While Minnesota won that coin flip, they won’t see the biggest reward. In fact. the Vikings will have their first round pick used by the Philadelphia Eagles, who earned the pick in the trade for quarterback Sam Bradford.
The bad part for the Vikings is that the second round draft will be #48 overall instead of #47 because of winning the coin flip. However, that will be made up in the later rounds, which will continue to alternate throughout the rounds.
