A clip of the Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback has been leaked of him throwing a football while he continues to recover from his brutal knee injury.

For the type of freak injury that Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater suffered last summer, even the tiniest amount of progress during his rehabilitation workouts are a positive sign that his healing process is heading in the right direction.

There have been clips of Bridgewater doing a number of drills with the use of his injured knee, but none have really shown the quarterback participate in any sort of football-related workouts since he began his rehab process. But on Tuesday, a clip of Bridgewater throwing a football on his injured knee began to make the rounds.

Just like when Mike Zimmer spoke about the quarterback’s rehab progress going great during an interview on Monday, this may not seem like much but it is a very positive sign for Bridgewater’s chances at ever playing again on an NFL field.

Now let’s not ignore the gigantic brace he is wearing on his left leg, but the fact that he is already able to go through a normal throwing motion while being able to put weight on his left knee less than a year after his injury occurred is great news.

Of course there is no rush to get him back out on the field in 2017, but this clip certainly does give some people hope that his return could be happening sooner than later.
