Full draft order for the Minnesota Vikings at the 2017 NFL Draft

When will the Minnesota Vikings be selecting in the 2017 NFL Draft and which teams will be selecting where in the first round? All the information is here!

The 2017 NFL Draft is right around the corner and fans of the Minnesota Vikings are excited to find out which of the top college prospects will be wearing purple and gold after all the smoke clears from the event.

However, there is some information fans will want to have. Not only is it good to know when the Vikings will be on the clock, but having an idea of when other teams will be making their selections, particularly on day one, can be a lot of fun.

The NFL Draft will kick off on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 7:00 pm central time. While the Vikings don’t have a pick in the first round, here are the places where Minnesota will have selections available according to NFL.com:

VIKINGS 2017 DRAFT PICKS

  • Round 2, Pick 16 (#48 overall)
  • Round 3, Pick 15 (#79 overall)
  • Round 3, Pick 22 (#86 overall) – from Dolphins
  • Round 4, Pick 14 (#120 overall)
  • Round 4, Pick 22 (#128 overall) – from Dolphins
  • Round 5, Pick 16 (#160 overall)
  • Round 6, Pick 15 (#199 overall)
  • Round 7, Pick 14 (#232 overall)

Keep in mind that these picks could change. General manager Rick Spielman isn’t shy about working the phones on draft day in an attempt to get a prospect the team really likes, accumulate draft picks, or position the team for another move.

Of course, Minnesota doesn’t have a pick in the first round after sending it to the Philadelphia Eagles for quarterback Sam Bradford after Teddy Bridgewater went down with a scary knee injury during training camp last year.
