The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with 13 undrafted free agents following the conclusion of the 2017 NFL Draft to bring into training camp.

When asked about one thing he could do better during the draft process, Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman was quick to say that the team needed to do a better job at switching gears to prepare for the frenzy of undrafted free agents.

This year, it appears the team took the situation even more seriously than in previous years, as they have brought in some of big school prospects to give a shot during the team’s training camp this season.

Here is a list of the undrafted free agents that the Vikings have come to terms with according to the official website of the team:

More from The Viking Age

  • Tashawn Bower, DE, LSU
  • Dylan Bradley, DT, Southern Mississippi
  • Aviante Collins, T, TCU
  • Nick Fett, T, Iowa State
  • Caleb Kidder, DE, Montana
  • Wes Lunt, QB, Illinois
  • Sam McCaskill, DE, Boise State
  • Terrell Newby, RB, Nebraska
  • Josiah Price, TE, Michigan State
  • Horace Richardson, CB, SMU
  • R.J. Shelton, WR, Michigan State
  • Shaan Washington, LB, Texas A&M
  • Eric Wilson, LB, Cincinnati

Minnesota brought in a bit of everything with this group of UDFAs. It is a healthy mix of offensive and defensive players, although many of them are from the upper midwest region of the United States.

Congratulations to these young men for continuing their dream of becoming professional football players and kudos to the Minnesota Vikings for gathering a talented group of players to evaluate during training camp.
