By Adam Carlson
Those who enjoy putting a little bit of cash on the Minnesota Vikings may want to check out the early 2017 betting lines on Bovada’s website.
For some fans of the Minnesota Vikings, watching the games each week and following the players is a great time. Others like to put their money where their mouth is and place bets on how the team will perform.
Bovada.lv have released their early prop bets for the Vikings and some of them could be very favorable for individuals hoping to make a little extra cash while betting on their favorite team this year.
Here are two betting lines involving the Minnesota Vikings as of May 14, 2017 according to the official Bovada website:
More from The Viking Age
- 6 biggest draft steals in Minnesota Vikings history
- Former Vikings first-round pick could reportedly return to NFC North
- Bears analyst has extremely embarrassing Kirk Cousins take
- 6 Vikings who (maybe) won’t make the 53-man roster in 2023
- Predicting what the Vikings will do in the 2023 NFL Draft based on 2022
Offensive Rookie of the Year – Dalvin Cook (+700)
Leonard Fournette is the favorite to win the award in early voting with Chrisitan McCaffrey and DeShaun Watson rounding out the top 3. However, Cook is in the #4 position. Since Minnesota will likely use a committee attack out of the backfield, this probably isn’t the best bet for gamblers.
2017 record – 8.5 wins (+/- 115)
The good news here is that the betting giant sees the Vikings as an above average team this year and that they will improve upon their record from last year. The bad news is that this makes for a challenging betting line. Still, there is a pretty solid chance that Minnesota is at least a 9 win team this year, so taking the over might be a better bet.
