The Minnesota Vikings were well represented on a list of the top 25 defensive touchdowns of the 2016 season according a video made by the NFL.

Last season, the Minnesota Vikings provided fans with many very exciting moments. In fact, several of them came on the defensive side of the ball, especially when rushing the passer or playing in coverage.

Recently, the NFL released a video of the top 25 defensive touchdowns from the 2016 season for #TDTuesday and the Vikings were well represented, landing 3 of the top scores on defense including plays from week 1, 11, and 17.

Here are the rankings of each play involving the Minnesota Vikings and a brief description of them as well as the week and opponent for the game:

More from The Viking Age

#20. Week 1 at Titans  A botched hand off between the Tennessee quarterback and running back leaves the ball on the turf. Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter scoops up the ball and sheds off a block from the quarterback. After that, it is fairly clear sailing for Hunter until the endzone.

#18. Week 17 vs Bears  A sack on the Chicago quarterback goes very right when the ball is punched out by Linval Joseph as they hit the ground. Anthony Barr slaps the ball toward the end zone, where it is scooped up by Everson Griffen as the group runs for the touchdown.

#1. Week 11 vs Cardinals  Carson Palmer throws a pass into the end zone, but cornerback Xavier Rhodes steps in front of it. The defensive back returns the interception for 100 yards, leaving every Arizona player in the dust.
