Kelly Kleine promoted to Minnesota Vikings college scouting coordinator

The Minnesota Vikings have named Kelly Kleine their new college scouting coordinator, where she handles a wide variety of jobs for the franchise.
One of the most important parts of running a successful NFL franchise is making sure that the team has as much talent as possible. For franchises like the Minnesota Vikings, that means having some of the best talent evaluating scouts available.
Recently, the Vikings made a change to their scouting team according to Alex Marvez of The Sporting News. He reports that former college scouting assistant Kelly Kleine has been promoted to the role of college scouting coordinator.
The role of college scouting coordinator is a complicated one. In fact, the list of duties that this one individual is responsible for is quite astounding. In her new job, Kleine will have her hands full at any given time.

"“She does about 1,000 different things to say the least,” Spielman told Sporting News in a telephone interview. “She basically has her hands in all day-to-day operations on the personnel side.”"
Putting things into perspective, Marvez shared a partial list of some of her duties, and here is a brief rundown of some of those duties:
- Current roster talent evaluation
- Manage the team grading system
- Coordinate the scouting combine for the team
- Arrange travel for top 30 meetings leading up to the draft
- Compile advance scouting reports
- Give presentations and attend meetings for scouts and team personnel
- Work with the special teams unit in practice
