Former Vikings CB Antoine Winfield among best cornerbacks of all time
By Adam Carlson
Gil Brandt of NFL.com continued his list of best players to play at each position with the cornerbacks, where a Minnesota Vikings player was included.
When people think of the best cornerbacks ever to play the game of football, there are some names that come to mind. Newer fans will think of Darrelle Revis while others may point to Deion Sanders or Rod Woodson. Sadly, not many Vikings cornerbacks enter the discussion.
However, a surprise player from Minnesota was included on a list from NFL.com NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt when he put together a list of the best cornerbacks of all time, making the list even more fun for Minnesota fans.
The top 31 list (an interesting number, but any list is fun) had former Minnesota defensive back Antoine Winfield at the #25 spot.
