There was a scary moment during the Minnesota Vikings night practice in Mankato where backup offensive tackle Rashod Hill went down with an injury.
At the Minnesota Vikings practice on Saturday, August 6, 2017, thousands of fans along with legends from the franchise as well as the current roster full of players, coaches, and executives all filed into Blakelee Stadium in Mankato, Minnesota to celebrate the 52nd and final season the team will hold training camp at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
During the night practice, there was a scary moment where backup offensive tackle Rashod Hill fell to the ground and stayed there for an extended period of time. Fans held their breath, especially since current starting left tackle Riley Reiff has been struggling with a back injury.
Thankfully, Hill made it to his feet before the cart arrived to take him to the medical staff. Still, this injury put the position in extreme doubt heading into the 2017 NFL season and was a scary moment in front of over 10,000 fans.

"“Everything appears fine,’’ said Brett Tessler. “He shouldn’t be missing any time.’’"
The fans in attendance weren’t the only ones scared. Hill’s teammates were all concerned, especially Linval Joseph, who also says that the tackle is alright following the scary moment on the field according to Scout.com’s Viking Update.
"“He’s OK, he’s OK. Everything’sgood,” said defensive tackle Linval Joseph, who was talking to Hill after he returned to the stadium. “When anybody goes down, we’re all one family. We need one another, so when somebody goes down it scares everybody.”"
