Wright’s fit with Minnesota has been in question ever since his playing time saw a dramatic decrease in 2016. But thanks to Laquon Treadwell getting into a stupid fight at training camp and Michael Floyd succumbing to the power of Kombucha tea, Wright getting cut before the start of the season would be a bit of a shock at this point.
The Vikings are still searching for a player to step up and be the number three wide receiver behind Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen when they open the regular season. Wright could have a few opportunities against San Francisco on Sunday to prove to Minnesota that the third receiver role is his for the taking.
