Week 3 injury report: Minnesota Vikings vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
By Adam Carlson
Which players from the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their status for Week 3 of the NFL season in doubt. Here is the injury report!
Injuries can play a major factor in determining football games. Last season, the Minnesota Vikings struggled with keeping their players healthy and ended with a disappointing 8-8 record. This season, the team doesn’t have as many injuries, but the ones they do have are significant.
Coming into Week 3 of the NFL season, the Vikings will need to be on top of their game, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming to town to challenge Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Here is the injury report for Week 3 as shared on the official website of the Vikings:
Minnesota Vikings
Out
- Sam Bradford, QB – knee
Doubtful
- – none –
Questionable
- – none –
With only one name on the final injury report, most fans would feel good about the Vikings chances on Sunday. However, when that player is your team’s starting quarterback and he’s listed as out, that’s never a good thing. Bradford missed last week with the same knee issue and could miss more time this season while dealing with the ailment.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Out
- Kwon Alexander, LB – hamstring
- Chris Baker, DT – illness
- Jacquies Smith, DE – illness
Doubtful
- Brent Grimes, CB – shoulder
Questionable
- – none –
For Tampa Bay, being without middle linebacker Kwon Alexander will be a huge loss. When coupling that with cornerback Brent Grimes looking doubtful for the game, Minnesota will need to take advantage of these spots on offense.
