Which players from the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions have their status for Week 3 of the NFL season in doubt? Here is the final injury report!

While only headed into Week 4 of the NFL season, injuries have played a major part in the final results of several games. While the Minnesota Vikings have been fairly lucky so far when it comes to player availability, injuries can happen at any time.

The Vikings take on the Detroit Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium this week in the 122nd matchup between these two teams. This is an important game for both squads, as it could have major implications on the NFC North as well potential playoff picture.

Here are the players who have either been ruled out or have their game status in danger headed into Week 4 as shared on the Vikings official website:

Minnesota Vikings

Out

  • Sam Bradford, QB – knee

Doubtful

  • – none –

Questionable

  • Rashod Hill, OT – knee

It sounds as though everyone except Sam Bradford will be good to go for the Vikings, however that loss is significant because it thrusts Case Keenum into a starting role for the third consecutive week.

Even though Keenum looked good against Tampa Bay, there is no guarantee that he will play at a high level against a tough Lions defense.

Detroit Lions

Out

  • Zac Kerin, G – knee
  • Dwayne Washington, LB – quad

Doubtful

  • – none –

Questionable

  • Ezekiel Ansah, DE – knee
  • Don Carey, S – knee
  • Jarrad Davis, LB – concussion/neck
  • Kenny Golladay, WR – hamstring
  • Travis Swanson, C – ankle
  • Tavon Wilson, S – shoulder

Both players who are out for Detroit are offensive backups, which should have little to no impact on the team. However, they have many big names on the questionable list, including dynamic pass rusher Ansah, linebacker Davis, safety Wilson and breakout wide receiver Golladay which should be good to go on Sunday.
