Which members of the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers appear on the Week 6 injury report and who will be sitting out the important NFC North game?

Fans of the Minnesota Vikings don’t need to be reminded of just how important having a healthy team can be headed into a tough matchup. And not many games will be much tougher this season than their week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Aaron Rodgers and company are coming to Minnesota this week, and it doesn’t look like the Vikings will be at full strength for the important game between two teams fighting for positioning in the NFC North.

Here is the Week 6 injury report for both Minnesota and Green Bay according to the official website of the Vikings:

Minnesota Vikings

Out

  • Sam Bradford, QB – knee
  • Stefon Diggs, WR – groin
  • Nick Easton, G – calf

Doubtful

  • – none –

Questionable

  • Andrew Sendejo, S – groin

Fans of the Vikings should have expected that Bradford will be sitting this one out. It was obvious during last week’s game against the Bears that he is not ready to go and needs more time before stepping back on the field.

Both Easton and Diggs left the game last week and did not return. There was hope that both players could suit up for Minnesota this week, but the team has decided it is best for them to sit the game out. Diggs’ production will need to be covered by a talented wide receiver grouping while Easton’s spot will likely be filled by Jeremiah Sirles.

Green Bay Packers

Out

  • Morgan Burnett, S – hamstring
  • Joe Thomas, LB – ankle

Doubtful

  • Ahmad Brooks, LB – back
  • Kevin King, CB – concussion

Questionable

  • David Bakhtiari, OT – hamstring
  • Brian Bulaga, OT – ankle
  • Davon House, CB – quadricep
  • Ty Montgomery, RB – ribs

For the Packers, they are only officially going to be without one starter so far in Burnett. However, their depth at positions like cornerback and offensive tackle could come into question, especially if Kevin King is unable to go on Sunday.
