Pro Football Focus listed the top grades earned by Minnesota Vikings players during their Week 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens at U.S. Bank Stadium
It’s easy to understand that the Minnesota Vikings had a fantastic game defensively against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7 of the NFL season. Aside from a meaningless last-second touchdown, Joe Flacco’s offense struggled mightily to move the ball. However, even great performances can go under the radar.
One of the most popular means of measuring a player’s performance in a game is Pro Football Focus. Each week, they put together a list of the top players from each team along with some notable performances.
This week, Pro Football Focus put their sights on the top-5 graded players from the Vikings, and some of them were a bit of a surprise. Here is the list:
More from The Viking Age
- 6 biggest draft steals in Minnesota Vikings history
- Former Vikings first-round pick could reportedly return to NFC North
- Bears analyst has extremely embarrassing Kirk Cousins take
- 6 Vikings who (maybe) won’t make the 53-man roster in 2023
- Predicting what the Vikings will do in the 2023 NFL Draft based on 2022
"DT Linval Joseph, 91.5 overall grade"
"RT Mike Remmers, 87.1 overall grade"
"DE Everson Griffen, 83.8 overall grade"
"LT Riley Reiff, 83.4 overall garde"
"LB Anthony Barr, 83.0 overall grade"
Linval Joseph and Everson Griffen are regulars when it comes to landing on Pro Football Focus’ top lists. These two defenders regularly are solid players who are very disruptive.
The surprises here are the two offensive tackles. Mike Remmers and Riley Reiff don’t get enough credit for what they have been doing during their first year in Minnesota, as both have done a great job coming into a new situation to block for the quarterback and open up holes for the running game.
Barr is having a fantastic season as well, missing only 1 tackle by their metrics this year and playing very well from sideline to sideline.
