The Minnesota Vikings are 6-2 and are enjoying a solid 2017 season, but they have a lot to prove on the road in Week 10 against the Washington Redskins.
Despite never winning a Super Bowl, the Minnesota Vikings are one of the winningest teams in the National Football League. In fact, since entering the league, they have won an impressive 54.1% of their games, which is the 9th best of any franchise.
Sadly, they haven’t fared as well against the Washington Redskins over that time period. The two teams have faced off a total of 25 times since Minnesota joined the NFL and the Redskins lead the all-time series 13-12.
The good news is that the Vikings will have a chance to even the series in Week 10 when they travel to Landover, Maryland to take on the Redskins.

Minnesota is coming off a bye week and should be healthier for their matchup against Washington. There have been some players who are banged up that could use a little time to rest and recover before attacking the second half of the schedule.
The Vikings have historically had some success after a bye week. Since 1990, the team is 17-10 after a week off. However, recent history hasn’t been as good because Minnesota has only won one of their last seven games after a week of rest and preparation.
Still, this Vikings team feels different. Entering the second half of the season at 6-2 with an opportunity to tighten their grip on first place in the NFC North is a fantastic position to be in, even if they have to do it without Sam Bradford and Dalvin Cook.
The Vikings evened up the all-time series against the Baltimore Ravens 3-3 in Week 7 and hope they can do the same in Week 10 against a tough Washington squad.
