The Minnesota Vikings face a big challenge in week 10 when the team hits the road to take on the Washington Redskins. Here are the expert picks to win!

The Minnesota Vikings enter Week 10 of the 2017 NFL season at 6-2 and a lead in the NFC North. However, if they want to stay in that spot, they will need to defeat a tough Washington Redskins team in Maryland.

This should be a hard-fought team between two franchises trying to overcome a multitude of injuries and still find their way to the postseason and trying to pick who will win this contest is a tough call.

Thankfully, the experts have once again weighed in on the game and have given their opinions as to who they believe will come up victorious in Week 10. Here are their picks along with some analysis.

Picking the Vikings

  • Bleacher Report – Chris Simms: If the Washington Redskins were completely healthy, I’d probably choose them. I’m just not sure they have enough talent and depth to overcome injuries and the Minnesota Vikings.” Vikings 23, Redskins 20
  • CBS Sports – Pete Prisco: I think the Vikings will find a way again to win a game late with both defenses having good games.” Vikings 21, Redskins 20
  • Pro Football Talk – Michael David Smith: If both teams were at full strength I’d take Washington in this one, but I see the Vikings’ defensive front making life rough for Kirk Cousins behind a banged-up offensive line.” Vikings 21, Redskins 16
  • Sporting News – David Steele: Washington hopes to get as many as four offensive starters back from injury (three on the line, plus tight end Jordan Reed). They got away with it (barely) in Seattle; they somehow have to mimic that against another elite defense and ferocious front line.” Vikings 31, Redskins 21
  • CBS Sports – Jared Dubin
  • CBS Sports – Dave Richard
  • CBS Sports – Jamey Eisenberg
  • ESPN – Bowen
  • ESPN – Kerney
  • ESPN – Kimes
  • ESPN – Riddick

Picking the Redskins

  • CBS Sports – John Breech – I think what I’m trying to say here is that Cousins’ value is going to continue to skyrocket because he’s going to beat the Seahawks and Vikings in consecutive weeks.”  Redskins 23, Vikings 20
  • FanSided – Matt Verderame: “In this one, Washington has the better quarterback and is more desperate.” Redskins 24, Vikings 21
  • NFL.com – Elliot Harrison: Kirk Cousins‘ career passer rating in November is 112.2, the NFL’s highest in that month since he entered the league in 2012.”  Redskins 20, Vikings 17
  • Pro Football Talk

Washington is better than 4-4, and the Vikings are worse than 6-2. It’s a correction Sunday in Maryland.”
