Who from the Minnesota Vikings put on the best performances in Week 10? Here are the most highly graded players by Pro Football Focus against the Redskins.

Across the board, it was exceptionally difficult to find any horrible performances from the Minnesota Vikings when they took on the Washington Redskins in Week 10 of the 2017 NFL season.

Since many players had career days and others put forth excellent performances, trying to figure out who had the best games of the week for the team is a challenge. Thankfully, there’s a website entirely devoted to that.

Pro Football Focus released an article full of expert analysis from the game, highlighting many of the top performers from the game along with some information about why the earned the grade. Here were the top 5 Vikings from Week 10:

More from The Viking Age

  1. WR Adam Thielen: 93.6 overall grade
  2. S Harrison Smith: 87.0 overall grade
  3. S Andrew Sendejo: 82.4 overall grade
  4. C Pat Elflein: 82.1 overall grade
  5. DL Tom Johnson: 81.4 overall grade

It should be no surprise whatsoever that the top grade of the week went to Adam Thielen. His yards after the catch and spectacular grabs to keep drives alive were paramount for the Vikings success this week.

"“Thielen had another strong game as he caught 8 of his 11 targets for 166 receiving yards — including 72 after the catch — and a touchdown. Furthermore, quarterback Case Keenum had a passer rating of 145.1 when targeting Thielen in this game.”"

The moderately surprising name on the list is Tom Johnson, who was consistently disruptive from the interior of the defensive line. Johnson has helped Vikings fans forget all about Sharrif Floyd, and is a backup that would be good enough to be a starter on many NFL teams.

"“Johnson has been impressive as a pass-rusher over the past four weeks, and that continued in this game, with a hit and three hurries from 31 pass-rushing snaps.”"
