Which members of the Minnesota Vikings had the highest Pro Football Focus grades in Week 12 against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving of 2017.
The Minnesota Vikings had a short week heading into Week 12 of the 2017 NFL season after defeating the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Their opponent on Thanksgiving Thursday was their NFC North adversaries, the Detroit Lions.
Minnesota had some great performances in their big division win, and there were several players who deserved to be recognized for their efforts. That’s where well-known and well-respected statistics website Pro Football Focus is the authority.
Here are the top 5 graded Minnesota Vikings players from Week 12 according to an article on the Pro Football Focus website:
- Everson Griffen, defensive end – 87.1 overall grade
- Case Keenum, quarterback – 85.2 overall grade
- Kyle Rudolph, tight end – 83.5 overall grade
- Anthony Barr, linebacker – 81.7 overall grade
- Jerick McKinnon, running back – 80.3 overall grade
It’s no surprise that Everson Griffen is at the top of this week’s player grades for Minnesota. He was consistent in getting pressure and disrupting things in the backfield. Plus, the birth of his new baby boy earlier in the day made for a great story to go with the excellent performance.

Another excellent performance from the game was quarterback Case Keenum, who made some great throws under stress and used his mobility to give the Vikings more chances to succeed in the passing game.
"“Keenum’s willingness to stand in against pressure saw him pick up a touchdown pass to Kyle Rudolph on a play he got hit on, helping boost his passer rating under pressure on the day to 106.6”"
