Who will be sitting out of the Minnesota Vikings week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons and whose status is up in the air heading into December 3, 2017?

The Minnesota Vikings have been able to overcome some big injuries this season, losing both their starting quarterback and running back while having a number of other ailments impact the team as well.

Thankfully, they are getting healthier and the injury report for Week 13 doesn’t have very many names at all included. This is odd considering how beaten and bruised the players’ bodies are at this point, but it’s great to see so few plays hurting badly enough to appear on the injury report.

Still, there are a couple of players who have either been ruled out of Week 13 against the Falcons or have their status in question. Here is the official injury report as shared by the official Vikings website:

Minnesota Vikings

Out

  • Mike Remmers, OT – low back

Doubtful

  • – none –

Questionable

  • Eric Kendricks, LB – hip

Recently, Remmers has missed time due to a concussion. Now, it’s a lower back issue that will have him sitting out of this week’s game. However, Rashod Hill will get the start in his place, and Hill has been playing well in his absence.

Hopefully, Kendricks will be able to play on Sunday since his speed and athleticism at linebacker would be missed against a fast and explosive Falcons offense.

Atlanta Falcons

Out

  • Desmond Trufant, CB – concussion

Doubtful

  • – none –

Questionable

  • Sean Weatherspoon, LB – illness

For the Falcons to be without Trufant is quite big. This means that there will be a backup starting alongside Rob Alford, and Stefon Diggs or Adam Thielen should be able to take advantage of that matchup.

On the other hand, Weatherspoon should be good to go for the game barring a setback to his illness.
