Week 16 injury report: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
By Adam Carlson
Who won’t be suiting up for in Week 16 between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers on Saturday Night and which players are on the injury report?
For some weeks, the Saturday Night Football contest between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers in Week 16 has been tabbed as being a revenge game of sorts, considering what happened with Aaron Rodgers at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Sadly, injuries are a part of the NFL and nobody is immune to them. In fact, there are several players who won’t be able to suit up for this game and others who stand a chance of seeing action during the contest.
Check out the injury report for Week 16 as shared on the official Vikings website showing who has been ruled out on Saturday and who has a chance of suiting up for both teams:
Minnesota Vikings
Out
- Tramaine Brock Sr., CB – foot
Doubtful
- – none –
Questionable
- Mackensie Alexander, CB – ribs
- Riley Reiff, OT – ankle
- Andrew Sendejo, S – ankle
The good news here is that none of the starters are listed as either out or doubtful for Saturday Night Football. Seeing Reiff as questionable is a great sign that he will be ready to return soon, even if it isn’t against the Packers.
Considering Sendejo’s hard-hitting play style, it’s kind of amazing he isn’t on the injury report every week. However, he should still be thought of as good to go against Green Bay barring any kind of setback.
All Vikings were full participants in practice except for Riley Reiff and Kyle Rudolph who were limited and Brock, who sat out.

Green Bay Packers
Out
- Davante Adams, WR – concussion
- Demetri Goodson, CB – hamstring
Doubtful
- Nick Perry, LB – ankle/shoulder
Questionable
- Jahri Evans, G – knee
- Davon House, CB – shoulder/back
- Clay Matthews, LB – hamstring
Not having Davante Adams available will make things a little harder on Packers quarterback Brett Hundley, but it would be even worse if Jahri Evans can’t go. Meanwhile, Green Bay’s defense is banged up, with one cornerback out, one questionable, and two linebackers in danger of missing the contest.
