The injury report for the game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs is very short this week.

It’s that time of year where the teams that win get to move on to play another week and the losers go home to figure out what went wrong. This week is a big one since the Minnesota Vikings are facing off against the New Orleans Saints.

Of course, the Vikings defeated the Saints once already this season, but fans in Minnesota struggle to get the memories of what happened between these two teams less than a decade ago out of their heads.

The outcome of this game will result from a lot of variables, but one could be player health. Here is the injury report from the official Vikings website:

It appears as though the Vikings will be close to full strength for this game. Although Newman is listed as questionable, he should still be good to go for the game on Sunday. The good news is that Kyle Rudolph and Pat Elflein is not on the list, meaning they are good to go.

Neither Hill or Mauti would be huge losses even if their illnesses don’t clear up by game time, but it is Brandon Coleman whose injury takes center stage this week. Coleman can be a solid weapon in the Saints passing game, and he has 3 touchdowns to go with 362 yards on just 23 catches. However, New Orleans doesn’t lack offensive firepower and should get by just fine without him.
