It was a sad day for fans of the Minnesota Vikings as hopes of watching their favorite team play during Super Bowl 52 in Minneapolis came to a screeching halt at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
The 38-7 loss to the Eagles was a disappointing game for Vikings fans, but there were still some reasons to cheer for Minnesota since there were several players who had solid performances during the game.
The good news is that several players for Minnesota graded out well according to Pro Football Focus. In fact, the released a list of some of the best and most notable grades from the NFC Title Game.

Here are the top 5 graded Vikings players from the NFC Conference Championship Game against the Eagles according to PFF in an article titled Refocused: Philadelphia Eagles 38, Minnesota Vikings 7:
- Danielle Hunter, defensive end: 80.6 overall grade
- Eric Kendricks, linebacker: 80.2 overall grade
- Linval Joseph, defensive tackle: 78.0 overall grade
- Mike Remmers, guard 76.0 overall grade
- Jarius Wright, wide receiver 75.2 overall grade
One of the biggest bright spots in the game was defensive end Danielle Hunter, who had a solid game despite going up against one of the best offensive tackles in the league in Lane Johnson.
"“He accounted for over one-third of the Vikings’ total pressures. He also led the team with five defensive stops, a season-high for Hunter.”"
On the other hand, there were a few performances that weren’t so great. PFF discussed how quarterback Case Keenum graded out to a 52.7 overall grade for the game.
"“He was under pressure on 24 of his 50 dropbacks and the numbers show he struggled in those circumstances. He was 11-of-22 for 108 yards and he an interception under pressure in this game.”"
But Keenum was far from the worst graded player on the Vikings roster. In fact, PFF pointed out how cornerback Trae Waynes had a very disappointing day by their grading standards against the Eagles and earned an overall grade of 39.5.
"“He allowed six catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns on the night. Foles had a perfect 158.3 passer rating when targeting Waynes, a figure that wasn’t helped by Waynes losing track of Torrey Smith on a flea-flicker.”"
