Fans hoping to watch the Minnesota Vikings play at U.S. Bank Stadium during the 2018 NFL season may be paying a little more to watch football games.
The Minnesota Vikings have one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL. Their loud fans and state of the art facilities at U.S. Bank Stadium give one of the most unique and positive experiences around the league.
However, those hoping to watch the Vikings during the 2018 NFL season may be in for a bit of a surprise when seeing the ticket prices if you’re a season ticket holder or purchase second-hand from a reputable seller or website.
According to BizJournals, the Vikings sent out emails to the team’s 50,000 season ticket holders notifying them of price “increases between 4 percent and 16 percent” depending on the location of their seats inside the stadium.

Team spokesman Jeff Anderson revealed that the team has been evaluating their ticket prices at U.S. Bank Stadium and feel as though the adjustment is necessary and still keeps the franchise near the median in the NFL.
"“We have had two seasons to evaluate ticket demand, the secondary market and fan experience,” Anderson said. We have a chance to reconfigure prices to better align with seat values.”"
Despite the price increase for season ticket holders, Minnesota still expects a renewal rate of 95% and still have a waiting list full of fans hoping for a crack at a regular seat in the stadium in hopes of more amazing moments and winning seasons.
There has been no word on how much individual single-game tickets will cost for fans during the 2018 season or if those prices will be adjusted.
