According to Michael Fabiano on Twitter, the Vikings are tied for the eighth most difficult schedule during the season. That’s not a surprise considering both teams from last year’s Super Bowl are on the schedule and both will be played on the road.
Add in a rematch from the team’s electrifying Divisional Round playoff game against the Saints, taking on the Rams and Seahawks as away games, and, of course, the 6 tough divisional games, and the schedule becomes immediately challenging.
Of course, not much should be read into the strength of schedule. Not all teams are well represented by their performance during the 2017 season…with the Green Bay Packers playing without Aaron Rodgers being a prime example of why not to take it too seriously.
