Brandon Zylstra

Certainly a dark horse to be Minnesota’s third receiver in 2018, but Zylstra is coming off a season in the CFL where he lead the league in receiving yards. With the CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos in 2017, Zylstra caught 100 passes for 1,687 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games.

While success in Canada does not guarantee anything in the NFL, the 25-year-old receiver has a good chance to make the Vikings’ final regular season roster in 2018.

Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer did recently say how he was, “impressed,” with what Zylstra was able to do during the team’s rookie minicamp. So at least the receiver has already found a way to get on Zimmer’s good side (not many veterans in Minnesota are even able to do that).
