5 Minnesota Vikings who could make their first Pro Bowl in 2018
By Adam Carlson
Eric Kendricks
Honestly, Eric Kendricks should have made the Pro Bowl last year. Anthony Barr, his teammate at linebacker, made the Pro Bowl in 2017 for the third time in his career but should have been able to do so with Kendricks right next to him.
Last season, Kendricks accumulated 113 total tackles, a very impressive number to go along with his one interception which he returned for 31 yards and a touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.
Also helping Kendricks’ case is the fact he just signed a massive contract extension to stick with the Minnesota Vikings for many more years, putting his name out there for some fans who may be able to recognize him on the fan ballots.
Either way, Kendricks will be a Pro Bowl linebacker one year. The only real question is when he will get the votes and the support to land on the list since he is definitely at that level on the football field to deserve the honor.
