NFC North believed to feature the NFL’s best quarterbacks in 2018
By Adam Patrick
NFL Media’s Adam Schein recently ranked the Minnesota Vikings and the rest of the NFC North as the division with the best group of quarterbacks in 2018.
Over the last few years, the Minnesota Vikings have had a number of different guys starting under center. Since 2013, seven quarterbacks have started in at least one regular season game for the Vikings.
With the addition of Kirk Cousins this year, Minnesota is hoping to have a little more stability at the position for the first time in awhile.
Within the NFC North, the Vikings are not the only team that has spent the last few seasons playing quarterback musical chairs. Like Minnesota, the Chicago Bears have started seven different signal callers since 2013.
Minnesota Vikings
Despite the Vikings and Bears recent instability at the position, the NFC North is still believed to be home to the strongest group of quarterbacks in the NFL this year. At least according to NFL Media’s Adam Schein.
Schein recently ranked each division by the strength of their starting signal callers for 2018 and he placed the NFC North at the very top of his list.
Although Cousins arrival gives Minnesota a boost in talent under center this year, the NFC North ranking first on this list has a lot to do with the starting quarterbacks who play for the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
Lions signal caller Matthew Stafford is coming off of his seventh-straight season with at least 4,200 passing yards and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still regarded by many as the NFL’s best in his position group.

Of course, the Vikings are hoping that Cousins can elevate his game to the level of Rodgers and Stafford one day. And although that day may not come in 2018, it does seem like something that could happen sooner than later.
