The remainder of the tight end depth chart for the Vikings is uninspiring. With three solid options above this group, they’ll have to impress on special teams or flash in the preseason to find a roster spot.
Bell is the headliner as the Oklahoma quarterback-turned-tight end has the traits to be a solid contributor. In the end, it might be a numbers game that is the demise of the fourth-year pro as he doesn’t really bring anything to the table that Minnesota doesn’t already have and he also doesn’t have practice squad eligibility.
