The Purple People Podcast has returned to discuss the news, rumors and transactions and rumblings regarding the Minnesota Vikings over the last two weeks.

First off, the Purple People Podcast would like to apologize for missing last week’s episode. Several of the show’s hosts were unavailable to discuss Minnesota Vikings news and therefore the episode was left unmade.

But the crew is back to talk about two week’s worth of Minnesota football this week, sharing both some great and horrible news from the franchise as well as some fun and hopefully interesting discussions.

Check out episode 311 of the Purple People Podcast titled “Remembering Tony!” as shared on the show’s official YouTube channel:

Here are some of the topics that were addressed in this weeks show, with plenty more being touched on by the hosts during the show:

  • Mike Hughes signs his four-year rookie contract and buys his mother a house
  • Vikings valued at more than $2 billion dollars!
  • ESPN released “Future Power Rankings” and has Minnesota listed 4th with 84.7 out of 100
  • Minneapolis Miracle won ESPY for “Best Moment”.
  • Robert Klemko “not convinced” Kirk Cousins is an upgrade over Case Keenum.
  • Mike Zimmer said on KFAN that Mike Remmers will “probably” be playing right guard this season.
  • Dalvin Cook named NFC North Rising Star by ESPN.
  • Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano passed away at 56

Remember that you can watch the show live each week on YouTube or catch it later on a replay. In addition, the show can be found on iTunes, Stitcher, PodOMatic, Spreaker, Google Podcasts, and numerous other places!
