After scoring a total of 21 touchdowns during his final two seasons at South Florida, the Vikings thought they were landing a talented receiver in Adams when they selected him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He did end up making Minnesota’s final 53-man roster in 2017, but he only managed to be active for just one game as a rookie. Midway through the season, the Vikings waived Adams and then signed him to their practice squad.

After his first year in Minnesota, the team decided to remove him from the practice squad and his time in the Twin Cities was quickly over. He attempted to stay in the NFL as a member of the Indianapolis Colts after being let go by the Vikings, but that didn’t work out either.

In April of 2018, Adams just felt he was better off without football and he decided to retire from the league. Currently, he is busy with his new career where he makes videos for his YouTube channel.
