As their first preseason game of the year quickly approaches, the Minnesota Vikings took the field for another training camp practice on Tuesday.

Currently, the Minnesota Vikings are at the point of training camp where the strong begin to separate from the weak. Leaders begin to emerge in their positional battles and the team’s roster starts to take a more realistic shape.

Friday’s preseason matchup against the New Orleans Saints will be the first time for a bunch of the Vikings’ current players to go out and use what they’ve learned from this year’s offseason and training camp practices.

Just putting up good numbers on Friday isn’t necessarily something that will result in getting a spot on Minnesota’s final roster this year. Which players are able to best grasp the mental aspects of the game this week is something the Vikings’ coaching staff will be paying close attention to as well.

For Tuesday’s training camp practice, Minnesota’s first-team offense was without right tackle Brian O’Neill. After hurting his arm on Monday, O’Neill stood on the sidelines on Tuesday as the rest of his Vikings teammates practiced.

In addition to Minnesota not having their starting right tackle available, Aviante Collins, Ade Aruna, and Tyler Catalina all sat out Tuesday’s practice session. For those that actually did practice on Tuesday, what were some of the top takeaways from everything that happened out on the field?
