There were some great and not-so-great moments for the Minnesota Vikings during their Week 8 game against the Washington Redskins on Thursday Night.

The Minnesota Vikings entered Week 8 of the 2019 NFL season with only a few days to prepare. With the game taking place on Thursday Night Football, there wasn’t a lot of time for injuries to heal or game-planning to take place.

Their opponent on Oct. 24 was the Washington Redskins, a team whose only win came against a team that hadn’t won a game all season long. Minnesota entered the game as massive favorites, but the game was fairly competitive early on.

The Vikings were able to get a 19-9 victory over Washington in the prime time affair, moving the team to 6-2 on the season with hopes of continuing to chase the Green Bay Packers for the top spot in the NFC North.

During the game, some positive things happened and some negative stuff happened as well. Let’s take a look at all that stuff starting with the absolute best thing the Minnesota Vikings did on Thursday Night Football in Week 8.
