Before they get their first week off of the season, the Minnesota Vikings will look to add to their 2019 win total against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Until last week, questions surrounded the Minnesota Vikings for the majority of the season about the legitimacy of them having one of the best records in the NFC.

But then the Vikings went into Dallas and got an impressive win last Sunday night over the NFC East-leading Cowboys. Few thought Minnesota had what it took to get a victory like that, but they proved a lot of people wrong with their performance last week.

This Sunday, it will be about taking care of business for the Vikings. They are welcoming an underperforming Denver Broncos team to U.S. Bank Stadium and it’s a matchup that should result in Minnesota leaving the field with a win.

But the Vikings have also learned multiple times during the Mike Zimmer era that no victory is guaranteed, no matter how inferior their opponent may appear to be prior to kickoff. With six games left on their 2019 schedule, Minnesota doesn’t have many opportunities left to improve their seeding in the NFC playoff bracket and they can’t afford to lose a game that favors their roster in almost every single facet.

Some may think that the Vikings’ Week 11 matchup with the Broncos has trap game written all over it. But there are multiple reasons to believe that Minnesota will be able to get the job done and end Sunday with a victory.
