Week 13
at Seattle Seahawks
Prediction: Loss
Already viewed by some as the Vikings’ toughest game remaining on this season’s schedule, the matchup became even more difficult on Sunday when Minnesota ruled out Adam Thielen.
Thielen has been dealing with a hamstring injury for the past few weeks and the hope was that he would be ready to go after the Vikings’ bye week. However, his hamstring clearly isn’t going to be healthy enough by Monday and Minnesota will have to try and get a win in Seattle without him in the lineup.
Speaking of Seattle, this is a place where the Vikings haven’t earned a win since 2009. That victory in 2009 is also the last time Minnesota beat the Seahawks on the road or at home.
The Vikings should be able to keep Monday night’s game close since eight of Seattle’s matchups this season have been decided by seven points or less. Still, Minnesota’s difficulties on the road against the Seahawks should be expected to continue until proven otherwise.
Vikings record after Week 13: 8-4
