5 Bold Predictions: Vikings vs. Seahawks – Week 13
By Chris Schad
Vikings will be shorthanded again
One of the biggest concerns for the Vikings down the stretch will be their health. Minnesota was down four starters in their Week 11 victory over the Denver Broncos and there is a chance they could be down even more in Seattle despite coming off of a bye week to try to get healthy.
The Vikings were already dealt some bad news when Adam Thielen was ruled out on Sunday due to his lingering hamstring injury and Harrison Smith is dealing with the same issue after leaving late in the Denver game. With Anthony Harris (groin), Linval Joseph (knee) and Shamar Stephen (knee) also listed as questionable, things could get shaky as we approach kickoff.
The good news is that Joseph, Smith, and Stephen all logged full practices on Saturday per the Vikings official injury report. While the Vikings could use all hands on deck to take on the Seahawks, they may use a long-term approach since every game down the stretch will be important if they want to catch the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North title.
