The Minnesota Vikings will be sending three players to this season’s Pro Bowl, but there are a few more guys from their roster who deserved the honor as well.

During this season’s Pro Bowl, the Minnesota Vikings will be represented by running back Dalvin Cook, defensive end Danielle Hunter, and safety Harrison Smith.

While it’s exciting that these three have earned a trip to the Pro Bowl this year, there are a few other Vikings players who should have also been included on the NFC roster when it was revealed on Tuesday.

Minnesota is currently sitting with 10 wins heading into Week 16 and the top seed in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks, have only one more victory than the Vikings this season. It’s incredibly surprising to see that only three players from a Minnesota team that could potentially finish the year with a 12-4 record were voted to the Pro Bowl.

Unfortunately, the selection of the Pro Bowl rosters usually doesn’t have a lot to do with the actual on-field performance. Some are chosen for this reason, but others have the luxury of being among the most popular players in their position group.

Once again, congratulations to Cook, Hunter, and Smith for their very deserved selection to this season’s Pro Bowl. But who are some of their Vikings teammates that should be making the trip to the NFL’s annual all-star game this year as well?
