What are some things the Minnesota Vikings will need to improve if they are going to get a playoff win over the New Orleans Saints next Sunday?

After Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears, the Minnesota Vikings finished the 2019 NFL regular season at 10-6. As the sixth seed in the NFC playoff bracket, the Vikings will now have to go on the road to face the 13-3 New Orleans Saints.

It seems like Minnesota always faces the Saints in the playoffs and this year, New Orleans appears to have one of their better teams in recent memory. The Saints are strong on both sides of the football with an aggressive, attacking defense that compliments their always deadly offense.

The Vikings will be underdogs in this contest, but they can get the win if they make some improvements before next Sunday.

Minnesota has had issues on both sides of the ball recently and when those issues appear, they usually end up on the losing end of games.

The Vikings really haven’t had one matchup this season in which they are hitting on all cylinders both offensive and defensively. If they can actually do this next Sunday in New Orleans though, Minnesota could find themselves advancing to the next round of the playoffs. If that is going to happen, there are a few things the Vikings will need to improve first.
