NFL Spin Zone recently picked three dream trade targets for the Minnesota Vikings that are on the Indianapolis Colts. Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton tops the list as it would be one heck of a trade.
Let’s take a trip down dream trade targets lane, shall we? Our friends over at NFL Spin Zone recently published an article breaking down three dream trade targets for the Minnesota Vikings that are currently on the Indianapolis Colts. We can all dream of such high-quality players coming over to the Vikings but one particular star player topped the list.
In an article written by Dan Parzych of NFL Spin Zone, he selected wide receiver T.Y. Hilton as the top dream trade target from the Colts right before the start of training camp. If such a dream trade ever came to fruition, Vikings fans all around the globe would love everything he’d bring to the table.
Hilton is all about speed, making big plays, and been a staple on the Colts’ offense for the last eight years. Bringing Hilton to the mix would add a huge dimension to the Vikings’ offense as one can only imagine the damage he could cause against opposing defenses with quarterback Kirk Cousins throwing it his way.
T.Y. Hilton would be a huge dream trade target for the Minnesota Vikings

Not for nothing, with the stunning trade of wide receiver Stefon Diggs this offseason, the Vikings are hoping they made the right choice for continued success. It’s no secret that Diggs was a catalyst on the Vikings’ offense but they wanted to keep building up their momentum by acquiring a plethora of draft picks and adding more talent to positional groups that needed it.
The biggest areas of need the Vikings have addressed due to trading Diggs this offseason were bolstering their defensive secondary and adding more offensive weapons to fill the void. It remains to be seen if this will help them continue being a playoff-contending team out of the NFC North but for now, there are some big shoes to be filled with Diggs no longer being on the team.
If the Vikings were to pull off such a huge dream trade, Hilton would be a suitable replacement for Diggs and then some. He’s still playing at a high level and besides posting some incredible numbers throughout his career so far, he has a plethora of NFL playoff experience which is always a great attribute to have in the locker room.
Overall, it’s fun to think of such ideas in the grand scheme of things as the Vikings could use a player like Hilton this upcoming season. Not only would it be such a sigh of relief for fans but would give the Vikings’ offense another star player to work with that could be the missing piece to advance even further in the postseason. This probably would never happen in real life but it sure is something to think about the possibilities of seeing Hilton lineup on the field wearing a Vikings jersey on game day.
