Things are getting ugly for the Minnesota Vikings when it comes to the weekly power rankings.

Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season brought an opportunity for the Minnesota Vikings to show that their struggles against the Green Bay Packers in the season opener were something the team could look past and learn from.

Sadly, that wasn’t the case at all. The purple and gold came out looking just as flat as ever, getting pushed around by the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2, and never really being competitive on the road against a team they arguably have more talent than.

Now that the Vikings are 0-2 to start the year and will clash with the undefeated Tennessee Titans in Week 3, things aren’t really looking up. It will be a huge challenge for Minnesota to get their first win against a team with a very good defense and exceptional run game.

Much will hinge on the Vikings’ performance in Week 3, but before looking too far ahead let’s see how the experts are looking at the team in their most recent power rankings and if their evaluation of the purple and gold is fair.
