Ending some losing streaks

The Vikings may not make the playoffs this season but they can try to end some losing skids against some division rivals. The Vikings have dropped three in a row to the Green Bay Packers and four in a row to the Chicago Bears. Those lengthy streaks can get in players’ heads and breaking them both before the start of the 2021 season would be a very healthy thing for the team.

The Vikings can end their losing streak against the Packers this Sunday in Lambeau Field. While their chances of doing that look bleak as the Packers are a much better team this year, perhaps the team returns from their bye energized and motivated to play better. They’ll need to figure out a way to pressure Aaron Rodgers without Yannick Ngakoue, but crazier things have happened.

The Vikings would also love to end their losing streak to the Bears. The Bears have taken the last four from the Vikings and a major reason why has been their defensive line and the way they are a physical mismatch against the Vikings’ blockers. They can’t end this season losing six straight to the Bears. Ending this losing streak will take a hell of an effort from the Purple but it would be one small victory in an otherwise lost season.
